Did you figure out the problem? I believe the same thing is happening with one of my drivers.

I believe I have solved the problem. I changed a few more components and cleaned some flux residue on the fly back circuitry. I think Q10 had a little bit of flux left on the board or was shorted.

I have an issue on my Porsche 914 with MS II V.3.0 that may or may not be an issue. This is a general question:

From conversations with others I've gathered that most factory cars and aftermarket standalone fuel injection systems essentially shut off injectors on deceleration.

Changed Q3, Q9 and U4 in an attempt to solve this INJ1 problem. No luck.

Same issue. Disconnect injectors on this bank, RPM goes up.

Any ideas? I'll throw a scope on it next and take a look at the signal under load since both inj signals look great on the stim under the eyes of a scope.

The VE table is simply a percentage of the reqfuel baseline. Work the other way around. First set your reqfuel the tweak the ve table.

I picked my base reqfuel going off what other 914 people used. Stock 2.0 Bosch injectors are HUGE(24lb/hr i think) for this application. You will get a feel for it ...

I ordered both Q3 and Q9 (Tip42, Tip125). Is there anything else I should replace on the faulty channel?

I don't have injector resistors.

I tried reflashing, same problem. I checked that dual tables are turned off, even tried with it enabled and did notice a change.

I'm running 2 squirts per cycle 9 / 4.5ms simultaneous. My unstable idle issues also take place high up in the rev range.

Does MS2 provide for different injector ...

Still fiddling with this problem.

The engine idles a bit rough with all injectors on one bank (INJ2). When i switch them all over to INJ1 it runs pig rich, black out the exhaust, MAP up to 50 from 27KPA, needs a lot more air to maintain a really rough idle.

UPDATE:

4 injectors off 1 bank isn't working out. I can't get it to idle properly at all. AFR jumps around and idle rpm is not constant. Is it possible one injector channel can't handle 4 low impedence injectors? I tried various different combinations of PWM%, injector open time, etc.. from 15% to ...

Yes, thanks. I have a possible future MS project with Pertronix so I'm following. Glad it's coming together! Do you see issues with the Pertronix signalling MS (Extra) only and MS firing the coil directly?
