Yeah , a little late but no worries ! the price difference is about $15 +or- 2-3$ either way for shipping and such .

Thanks for the reply tho. if i had known about that pickup I'd be slinging snow from the wheels of the raptor . Ohh well.

I'll be posting results and such ASAP !

I've contacted borut & ordered an REVD1 for an ignition source .

it's supposed to trigger off the low side of the coil and output a nice clean 12v square wave .

My question's before I recieve (2 week lead/ship time) the revd is how to setup the uS for said trigger ? , and I'm assuming I'm going ...

which box ?

any specific box they sell that you'd reccomend ? I'm kinda in need of a 12v square wave here...Hell i'd settle for a 5v !

yeah , 3-white 2-grn/white 1-red/white 1-red

I'm triggering of the red/white and grn/white. but the tach is erattic . and I don't know how to use the pickup.

where'd you get that cdi that has a 12v square wave ?

well , i took the cover off the magneto side of the motor , the pickup I am using for the crankshaft has a single 60deg tooth . how should i use this for input into the uS , am I going to have to Modify the flywheel to accept a 36-1 or equiv ? are there settings for a single tooth of a specific ...

I'm going to pull the cover off where the pick-up is located to see what kind of Ign setup in on the flywheel/stator/rotor assembly. I imagine it's a flying magnet setup, But how many teeth ? , that question will remain unknown until I pop the cover.

I've looked at the diagram and it has 3 white wires and a red and a white w/green coming from the stator , there's 2 wires coming from a pickup assembly of some sort, those colors are red/white and green/white

when i trigger from those 2 i get variable rpm output from MT from 300 to 13k +.

2001 Yamaha Raptor 660 uS Install , ignition question

So far i've got everything else nailed down , power/main ground /sensor grounds /iat clt o2 tps Injector all setup and wired, got past the .ini mistake i made myself and got the microsquirt to stop cycling the Fuel pump.

anyways , I'm using the vr input so far and am getting errattic RPM readings ...

I took my car for a trip this weekend and had some problems with the Ve map. On Friday the max map reading, (engine off) was 95.5 instead of the normal 97. I assume this was just due to the ambient air pressure (or lack of it). Unfortunately since since a lot of change takes place between map 94 ...

To get mine to work, I had to:

1) choose LC-1 in the configurator
2) reprogram the analog out of the LC-1
3) Select LC-1 in the sensor calibrator of MT.

As soon as i get it back from Innovate, I'll set it up as per your quote

is the resistor a 1/4w 470 Ohm that i'm supposed to use on the output ...
