Hiya,

Changed to TpsDot Threashold down to 10 %/s which has improved it somewhat but if i take it much lower the initial acceleration is great but as i build up revs it really starts caughing... Any ideas ??

Hiya,

Condensation may very well be produced in the exhaust, hot air hitting cold exhaust pipe and all. It also could be a leaking head gasket vaporising in the cylinder then recondensing further down the exhaust system. How long does waterdrip from the tail pipe for??

Slight hesitation on acceleration....

Hiya guys,

Tuning is coming on very well now, VE table is set up and appears to be working well. The only problem i have is a slight hesitation on acceleration from idle noticable when pulling away or on a slow gear change, the car almost seams to 'buck'. I'm not sure which setting in the ...

Many thanks for your support, and apologies for my late reply, just got back from hols.

A good mate and i were looking at the car last night and noticed i have a dodgy plug lead..!!!! Can't believe i didnt notice it earlier. Hopefully when its replaced it will make tuning a bit more ...

Spent this weekend removing pipework and inspecting all rubber hoses plus all associated gaskets. No leaks found....

Hiya mate,

thanks for your help, i raised the TPS threshold from 10 to 25 and the MAP threshold from 100 to 120. No difference i'm afraid...

Any other ideas??

Hiya, thanks for the input. Unfortunatly i've tried tuning the rough idle out with the VE table to no avail. Really beginning to get me down now.

OK i was wrong, i did initally install the 2.49k bias resistors...
Back to the drawing board... :-(

Bens_cab,

When you built your megasquirt, what bias resistor did you install?
I've just realised if you installed anything but 2.49K Ohm you need to change the value in the 'calibrate thermistor' menu. I installed 2.2k Ohm therefore i need to change the value to 2200 ohms.

I'll try it tonight and ...
