Looks like your table needs some work yet Allen.

Here is mine. Engine is a Ford small block V8 with approx 9.5:1 compression. Table is still pretty conservative, could probably add 2* or more to most bins.

That looks like way too much advance everywhere to me. Have you confirmed the timing with ...

Re: edis & cops

Another option would be to bias your cop's on all the time, wire pairs in series for a wasted spark and then drive them directly from the edis. Pin 1 of a coil would go to pin 2 of it's pair. Pin 2 of that coil would go to the edis pin 10,11,or 12.

Can you clarify what you mean by "bias" them on ...

edis & cops

I think that the edis module needs the load of a coil in order to calculate the proper dwell. Because of that, it will probably provide to much dwell which may damage your cop's. If you use an ms1 processor with the extra code, you could drive your cop's directly, plus have the benefit of a rev ...

I did a 1uz project last year.. It had two t3-t4 turbos @ 11 lbs of boost. I tuned it to run on 111 leaded fuel because it was in an offroad car. The one I did was originally for marine use, and came with COP's ,variable cam timing. I used edis for spark, and also drove the VVT solinoids with a ...

injector staging

I really would like to know if using alternating is better for the flyback circuit. All of the info that I have read about using low impedence injectors does not mention the effects of injector staging on the flyback.

injector staging

I just burnt up the stock flyback circuit using low imp injectors 70% pwm with simultaneous staging. I tried alternating staging and it would not run right. Does anyone have any idea why it would not run right with alternating ? Would simultaneous put more of a load of the flyback ? This happened ...
