I thought of doing that but decided on a BBK external made for a late model mustang. The BBK is very quiet and plenty strong for my big block. I would think you can use any intank pump that will fit in the hole. be very careful with the wiring...leaks...sparks... no good!

OK, I contacted Phillip at the Extra siteand was told to adjust % up for more fuel at a given temp. It's very hard to dail in VE when the tempature swings low/high during the day. This may seem silly but the megamanual does not describe this feature at all.

DIY auto tune has a 4 bar sensor you could use. Basically you need to change the map sensor then change the config settings to relate to the new map. I've never done it but I know it can be done.

MSI V3.0 MSnS-e029q2

My AFR is perfect if my engine temp is below 190deg F. Above this temp my EGO goes lean. In the Advanced settings of Megatune this can be adjusted % up/down. The manuel does not say which way to adjust for more fuel at a given temp. In the morning and evening the AFR is perfect ...

Lance,
5hg is at idle in drive gear (automatic), in neutral, Ihave 11hg of vacume. It is tuned for max vacume at idle in drive at aprox 900 rpm. Rpm rises to 1100 in neutral. I've tried various settings with map dot accel, every time the engine falls on its face. It may have something to due with ...

My cam is 284 degrees duration and .484 inch lift. It would be considered medium/wild. It has a lopy idle needs a 2500 rpm stall and makes power up to 6000rpm. I could not get it to run on map dot AT ALL! At idle I have only 5hg's vacume. It made the map sensor go all over the place. I found that ...

Is your ECU set up for a Hall Sensor? If the gauge is pink it is not getting a signal or the signal is corrupt. If PW is 0 and rpm is pink, the ecu is not reading the tach signal. I suggest taking signal from the distributor before the Crane. Make sure the jumper on the circuit board is set up for a ...

I agree! My BBK pump is all I need to run my 500hp big block. Running two pumps seems a little odd, especially with them not plumbed in series. I don't undrestang the thought behind the "T" with 2 pumps. It also gives you two possible failure spots. EFI only needs 50psi on average and unless you ...

With a properly matched size, the throttle response would be quite "snappy", very quick off the line. Too large ITB's will be tricky to tune without surging. Yes, you would need to sync all of them without the benifit of a plenum between the TB and intake valve. I run dual mustang style 65mm TB's ...

I run a Mallory Unilite with MSD 6AL and a MSD Timing Computer. I have the dist locked out (no advance) and let the Timing Computer handle the advance. Megasquirt can do spark advance with MSnS-e029q firmware but you will have to rum a MS I as the MS II cannot run this firmware. Mine is a 383, Eddy ...
