Not fully sure I understand the question but I'll give it a shot.

Generally, one posts a data log in an attempt to get help with a specific issue. So you would post a data log with whatever question you're seeking help on.

MSExtra is not the same system as the B&G code which you are running. Don't let that confuse you.

Attaching the file: When you click "post a reply" there are tabs below the preview/submit buttons, click on the tab "Upload Attachment" then select the file off your computer and "add the file".

The General Information posts tend to have less long-term value and are more likely to get swept in forum cleanups than more specific posts such as seen in the other parts of the forum.
