Re: Utility Board for MicroSquirt Module

Is this project still going to happen? It's been quite awhile since the last post and I haven't seen any boards for sale. Just curious!

Re: micro-module is DOA, need some advice..Please

After my initial panic at seeing 12v on the Vref, i looked at the DB37 pins i used for ground per the V3 schem. While they are grounded on the V3 board they don't appear to be grounded on the jim-stim...

So, now what I need to do is figure out what those pins do connect to, It makes no sense that ...

Re: micro-module is DOA, need some advice..Please

Ok, possibly not so bad afterall.

I ran just a 12v to pin 1 and a ground to pin 35, tested Vref and it was 4.9v.

I then was able to load code( 3.0.3t), and get it talking to TS. I was seeing CLT and IAT, no TPS cause the Vref was still dissconnected.

Though I am seeing RMP, the injector LEDs ...

Re: micro-module is DOA, need some advice..Please

Dang it, just realised this is not in the forum thread i wanted it in, i meant to post it in the module thread, not the general info. Don't know if it makes much of a differance, but i don't want to double post, so if a moderator wants to move it to a more apropriate thread that would be sweet ...

micro-module is DOA, need some advice..Please

Ok, today marks my first really bad day in years of MSing

I just got a micro module from DIY-EFI for use on my bike.

The bike has already been wired to a DB37 pin connector for use with a V3 board, but the board was simply too large to be usefull.
So since I was planning on using the map ...

Re: Microsquirt on Yamaha Scooter Engine - Won't Work

well, My 2cents....

double and tripple check your tach settings, these are SUPER important when being aplied to a low CYL. count engine. I have just started a 2cyl motorcycle install, and getting tach input criteria set correctly makes all the difference.

if you have a lab scope it will help a ...

Re: Different duty cycles (DC1 < DC2) at the same pulse

I think ( if I remember correctly ) what you are seeing is normal, the DC2 applies to the second fuel table ( when dual table is enabled ). If you are only running in single table mode, DC1 applies to both injectors.

Re: Ok, I give up.... dual spark settings crankwheel ???

OK, so that did it, pins 1 and 2 and 3 an4 4 of the NAND gate still need to be shorted together, not pin 4 to 1 as the instructions stated.

Now I get to start tuning fuel....... alpha n, blended......AE, now the real wok begins. Thanks!

Re: Ok, I give up.... dual spark settings crankwheel ???

1. Don't lift pin #1 off the NAND gate.
2. Lift pin #4 off the board, and jumper it to pin 1 with a wire so that the PWM1 pin is output to both pins 1 and 4.
3. Use the former pin #4 pad for the 2nd ignition channel as above.

This is what I did, set up for 1 tach input. but the option for two ...
