Ok, so bascially I leave the factory wires intact, then tap the signal wires to feed the MSII. That's easy enough. That should leave the vss signal intact to the gm box too.

I'm also assuming that you left the ignition control up to the gm box. But I'm also switching to a big block, so I would like ...

Mantianing old ecm to control 4l60e

Has anyone installed a MSII to convert a tbi chevy truck to multipoint and maintain the old ecm to control the transmission. Apparently you only need to maintain the tps, map, and ignition signals to the old ecm.

I have both pots to full CCW, and it appears to be pretty stable. I did have some issues with initial start up hot, but after adjusting the cranking rpm back to 300, everything seems to be working correctly.

Intermitent misfires

Currently I am just running the ignition side of the ms2 on my engine. I have an msd distributor feeding a vr signal right into the ms2 v3 and then it fires a msd 6a and the hvc2 coil.

Even though I haven't really asked a question about my ignition setup, i was able to find enough information to get the ignition working on my 76 vette.

Its amazing how much better my car runs with just the ignition side of the MS2 V3 setup. I don't have my injection manifold ready yet but I ...
