thanks, i dont know if the sensor is - or+ but i tried it hooked up with and without the resistor in series no rpm signal either way. i also tied it with the sensor - to chassis ground and optoin-. if i run it to chassis ground should optoin- also be grounded or not used? i am only running the one ...

hi, i am running a sportster fuel only as well i was running the rpm input to optoin+ from a crane hi-4 tach output. on datalogs the rpm would drop out to 0 intermittently making it difficult to tune. i switched the input to my coil negative terminal with worse results after switching back to the ...

thanks again i got my map issues fixed i think i got the idle tuned pretty well also but i have a new problem my tach signal is coming out of a crane hi-4 ignition system and it doesnt seem very stable sometimes when the engine is running the rpm guage in tunerstudio drops out to 0 then comes back ...

I viewed the last post, my sensor reading key on engine off is 2.806 v. With my vacuum pump at 28 inhg is .29 v I can't draw anymore vacuum to get it to 0 v and I don't know what Kpa that represents between -90 kpa & -100 kpa. Also I don't know the exact kpa at 5 v. thanks for the info . as a automotive tech im used to -40 being the default. the map sensor reading changes fine with my vacuum pump and also gets the bike running but should it not read 100kpa not running also i am good with engines but computers not so much how would i go about posting my msq. the ...
