Independent dual ignition with a long tooth?

I want to use Dual Independent Ignition setup on my motorcycle. The motorcycle is a 180° parallel twin. I have two 180° opposed vr sensors with one long trigger tooth on the flywheel. I believe I need to trigger off the leading edge of the tooth since the long tooth gives a large error in the zero ...

Thanks Matt, I was looking for it near the end of the split loom and found it as you predicted near the amp-seal end.

Re: Serial cable wiring???

Thanks for the link. It all makes sense now. Somebody f'ed up. The package I received had the controller the ms controller an ampseal connector with a bunch of wires attached and the DB9 to mini-stereo serial cable. My harness is missing the connector for the serial cable. I thought it seemed a ...

Serial cable wiring???

need help wiring my µs serial cable. I've searched the manual and I see which 3 wires are gnd, rx, and tx on the µs controller but I do not see what they are on the supplied DB9 > 1/8" serial cable. Am I missing something? I would think something as basic as this would be clearly explained.

Re: Siemens/Continental flex fuel sensor?

Thanks for the great info. I"ll do some more digging to see if I can find out how the "cheap" sensor I found works. Sounds likely that I could get it to work.

Siemens/Continental flex fuel sensor?

https://www.dragtimes.com/parts/Flex-fuel-sensor-Siemens-13577379_200939409695.html Do any flex fuel sensor besides the GM one work? I was looking at the Siemens/Continental part# 13577379. I don't see any information out there. Also where does the flex fuel sensor typically go? In the pressurized ...

Re: 36-N crank trigger wheel. on 180deg parallel twin.

I'm finally getting around to continuing this project. Anyone know of a place besides bigbluesaw.com and emachineshop.com where I can send them my cad drawing and have them cut out a trigger wheel? Looks like both of the previous sites want $110-$120 for a trigger wheel. I was thinking it would cost ...

Re: Recommendation for a motorcycle fuel pump?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm familiar with Jaycar, I've bought some O2 sensor related gizmos from them. This gives me some ideas on what i could do to cobble something together.
