Re: Need some help with this Vtwin....please!!!

This msq works well on my 90 degree Vtwin Kawasaki, wasted spark, LS2 coils, 36-1 crank wheel, micrsquirt with v 3.46 code. New code and ini files can be found here http://www.microsquirt.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=23547 (Dual NarrowBand O2, under wiring and sensors)

After loading the new code in the ...

Re: Need some help with this Vtwin....please!!!

I have been testing a 90 degree Kawasaki engine with LS coils over the last couple weeks,. Tried using cam sensor with starter ring gear (93 teeth) which worked pretty well, but had some synch problems over 3000rpm. Switched to a 36-1crank wheel wasted spark setup using 36 skip teeth and rpm reads 1 ...

Re: Dual Narrow Band O2

Loaded the new code and switched to TS, all worked perfectly.

Emissions look good, <.5gr/hphr NOX and <2gr/hphr CO at .55 volts for O2 setpoint. I am seeing some extreme fuel trims though, 40% on #1 and 160% on #2. I think my mixer setup is not working properly and #1 is stealing some fuel from #2 ...

Re: Dual Narrow Band O2

Thanks Al,
I wired in the second O2 sensor on pin 29, running MAF only on 24, and with new ini MT now displays both O2 voltages. However I am not getting individual fuel trim. I have dual narrowband selected, but fuel is still controlled by ego voltage #1. Also Pulse Width #2 is approx .25 less than ...

Serial Data

I would like to gather data from a microsquirt with a microcontroller. Can someone point me to where I can find info on serial data format and commands?

Dual Narrow Band O2

I have a small 90 degree v-twin running on natural gas with microsquirt for sequential fuel and spark. My goal is to minimize emissions and I have installed a catalyst. Currently I am using a single nb O2 sensor that only senses on #1 cylinder, map is on pin 24 green/red, maf on pin 29 orange/green ...

Re: Odd Fire Problem

Matt,
The problem was with the Cranking Trigger set to Trigger Rise. Everything worked when I switched to Calculated. Looks like you must use Calculated for code to calculate Offset for Output #2, makes sense now that I think about it. Probably says that somewhwere in the manuals and I just missed ...

Odd Fire Problem

I am trying to run a 90 degree Vtwin with Microsquirt, V2.89. Using rising cam with wheel/tach option, vr sensor on 93 tooth crank flywheel and hall effect on cam. I am getting very reliable synch and both LS2 coils fire. I can move where the coils fire with delay teeth, but the Offset Advance for ...
