Re: Misc install questions > Noise and skip tooth gear
I have to check again, but I didn't see any install directions with the Hall sensor and the DIY website doesn't give me a lot of particulars about the gear requirements.
I do see a nice drawing and a 3D model but nothing specific about the preferred tooth gap. It is the $34.00 Hall ...

Misc install questions > Noise and skip tooth gear
I'm reading a quite a bit about noise....and I want to avoid it!
--Do the injector wires generate much noise?
I plan to use to BIP373 to fire my coils. Does the wiring from the coils to the BIP373s generate a lot of noise? and how close can I put the BIPs to the actual ...

Re: Throttle body choice '88 FZR 1000
I am basically putting a FZR1000 jugs and head on a XJ700X cases. Both engines were the genesis 5-valve design liquid cooled 10K redline.

Re: Throttle body choice '88 FZR 1000
If so, that would make it easy. They are plastic junctions with orings and metal tube between (easy)....
The original 600 looks to be a solid casting with machined ports (not so easy)
I know the bodies on the 600 still ...

Re: Throttle body choice '88 FZR 1000
I know you guys are probably right.
Most likely what will happen is I will buy a 600 throttle body and the 1000 will sit on my shelf right next to a bunch of other parts I bought for this project and won't use.
Anyone got a set of throttle ...

Re: Throttle body choice '88 FZR 1000
Drop the TCI completely (just to make it more challenging)
The 600 TB would be a bit easier to fit...and I'm more interested in lower rpm response along with the more casual ...
