Re: No EGO Reading -- Voltage reads ok

Just closing the loop here -- AFR reads just fine while the engine is running.

Re: [FIXED] Engine won't rev above 4k rpm

I removed C30 from my microsquirt and was able to rev straight to the redline. Not sure if the diode swap or the cap removal did the trick, but either way, I'm leaving it be!!

I don't think this should be an issue with V3 microsquirts.

Re: Engine won't rev above 4k rpm

Thanks matt, I will do tonight.

I have a V2 microsquirt ordered on May of 2008, so I suspect I'm having the diode problem described in this thread:

http://microsquirt.com/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=23063&p=147261

The gap between my VR sensor and trigger wheel is extremely small -- .01" or so.

Re: MS wont let me rev above 6K

Did increasing or decreasing the air gap solve the problem?

[FIXED] Engine won't rev above 4k rpm

Hi Matt, Grippo, 24c and others,
My engine won't rev above 4k rpm -- it bounces off 4k as if a software rev limiter was kicking in (it is disabled). The car runs well otherwise and all the sensors are reading as expected including AFR...in fact I ran autotune based on the target AFR table in the ...

[FIXED] No EGO Reading -- Voltage reads ok

Hey Matt / Grippo / others,
I'm not seeing any AFR readings in tunerstudio v 1.006. I have a version 2.0 Microsquirt running code version 3.77. WB O2 sensor is an AEM UEGO, part number 30-5130. I have custom WB selected, set at 0.5 Vdc at 8.5:1 AFR and 4.5Vdc at 18.0:1 AFR per the manual: http://www ...

Re: How to set Advance for #2?

I only have 1 pickup -- a VR sensor. It's a single crank wheel input.

I verified with a timing light that 291 gives me what it should on bank 1 (commanded advance = measured advance).

How to set Advance for #2?

Hi,
I have read http://www.microsquirt.info/dualspark.htm but am still confused about what value I should set for "offset (advance) for #2 (degrees)", found under Ignition --> dual/multispark options in tunerstudio.

I have a 4 cylinder 4 stroke engine, even fire, wasted spark, single crank wheel ...
