Building your own fuel rail

G'Day all,

I am looking for some guidance from the group on this questions.. Is
it realistic to construct my own fuel rails (for 4 cyclinder
motorcycles) from soldered coper tubing or is it better to buy an
aftermarket assembly?

Yours is generally the exception to the rule, two ignition coils
firing individually is pretty well it for almost every other
multicylinder Japanese bike on the market from the 1970's up (exclude
triples and 6's).

There is no way I am going to get a z900 or Honda 4 to work on one coil.

Potted uS IAT CLT Sensors

I second that!

I am happy to seal the case myself just in case I pickup a bike with OEM efi h/ware and non-compatible sensors.

MegaSquirt State Of The Union - 2006

I like the idea of 4 outputs as long as the HEI modules are easy to
get and wire in, the Bosch modules look quite good and should both
mount OK and work on a bike. Just need to make sure people understand
that they need to obtain extra parts to make it all happen.
