Hi there,

I've been trying to get v2.88 to run in my MSII and something just doesn't seem right. I upgraded from the latest beta code (v2.871 I think) and stepped through the MSQ and am pretty sure nothing is missing. I also used the latest settings.ini file. When I start up MT, the TPS stays at 32 ...

In the latest beta code you can change the temp values if you go to Tables, and then Temperature Table Values. I don't think this menu was there in official releases, but I can't remember for sure.

The table generator works quite well, and give a good baseline to build from. You need to know what your max MAP value you expect to see. Also, the tips for generating a spark table are a good place to start. How much boost you planning on running?

I just started the tuning process myself for the ...

Hi there,

I wouldn't worry too much about getting a base map from someone else. Just follow the tuning instructions to create your own map. I just started the tuning process myself and found the generated map to be on the rich side (safe side) and I've been messing with the VE table to lean it out ...

Well, I can only speculate here because I really don't know. But, it would seem like you are either running leaner, so there is just less water being made. Or, your EGT's are higher so the water is staying as vapor as it exits the pipe. Maybe a combination of both?

I don't believe that MSII can do COP at the moment. Doing EDIS however is quite easy. Check out this link for the EDIS description:

And then pick the EDIS link.

I bought my EDIS parts from here: http://home.earthlink.net/~beanbooger/boost_engineering/

If it was me ...

I would run the 2.36 software until something newer is officially released, especially if this the first time MS will be used on the car. Get it running smoothly on that, and then go to the beta code. Keep in mind that MSII will not accept the raw signal straight from the knock sensor. The knock ...
