I am still having issues with tach input not being stable. The rpm at higher speeds seems to jump around more than I think it should..
I have attempted to add a log.. how does this compare to what you see with your setups?

Thanks for the reply Nic! I did a quick tune on the pots, R52 (noise pot) I turned in about 2 turns and left R56 fully CCW. I didnt have much time to experiment with the pots. Made a few test runs and it seems like it is running good.. Havent had time to check the logs for rpm errors, but I think it ...

VR input from MSD dist running MSD 6AL box... R56-R52 adj.

MSII, V3, 2.36, MT2.25, P&H drivers, LowZ inj, MDS 6AL.

I have just made the switch back to the VR circuit. Previously I was using the tach signal from the MSD 6A to run MS. At higher rpms, 5k and over I was gettting erratic tach signal.

My question is: When adjusting R56 and R52, what results ...

Well I fired the motor with the new injector drivers and ran it for a few mins.. pulled #5 and it started showing some color. Although I had to build a new harness to individually wire each injector, I checked the old injector wiring harness for opens and it seems fine!! I built an injector tester ...

My new MSII CPU board should be here tomorrow.. Then I can get back to it..

Thanks

HELP!! I need a new MSII CPU module by tomorrow????

Not sure where to post this question.

Can anyone help me out there? I dropped my ECU off the table when working on it.. and it managed to land on one of the chips (U3) on the MSII module. So I need one ASAP.. It ripped U3 off the board with the pads, I dont think it can be repaired..

I had very ...

Thanks Mustang,
I pulled the injector and cleaned it.. no dirt or anything to plug it. I will try the LED..
I have since switched my outputs over to Peek & Hold drivers to eliminate the PWM circuit.. Hoping to fired the motor today and see what happens..

Thanks

Running on 7 cylinders, could PWM be the culprit??

MSII, V2.35, V3 pcb, MT2.25, 565" BBC, Low Z injectors. Using PWM to fire the injectors. The motor seems to run fine. Datalog shows 12.2-12.6 AFR.. Problem is the motor wont rev past 5100rpm with a load on it.. This motor is in a boat.. I ran 700rpm faster last year than I am now. Made improvements ...

James,
Thanks.. I was headed down that road, but didnt know how to figure in all the variables..

This tells me that I am supporting about 600hp with a BSFC of .5..

That means I am short a couple of hundred horsepower. So something is a miss and it isnt that I am over fueling the motor.. I made ...
