can i controll boost with megasquirt II

James and I also plan on making boost control an option in MS2/extra. The main limitation will be the number of these other features that you can use at once without getting the GPIO board. The MS2 is very short on extra outputs.

Yes, both TPS and MAP affect the pulse-width... the lookup in the table happens from TPS, but MAP is multiplied into the calculation. I'm not sure how well it works because the weighting that MAP should have is going to vary by engine and car.... but it probably does better than just plain alpha-n.

James and I are working on ms2/extra, which includes an every-tooth wheel decoder. It should do COP on a 4 cyl, wasted spark on a 4, 6, or 8 cyl, distributor, and dual distributor.

I've had it running on a silver-top 20v 4age in a 1985 corolla gts.

We will likely do a real release of it in a ...

What problems are you having?

that's only on ms2...

Try turning the VR sensor conditioner potentiometers on the V3 board all the way counter-clockwise.

In some circuits, voltage can be either at 0 volts, or "floating"

A pullup resistor just makes it so the "floating" voltage becomes whatever voltage that the resistor is hooked to...

So a +5v pullup resistor will be hooked to +5v on one side, and to whatever you want that voltage to go to on the ...

I forget who came up with it, but I had it sitting on my server.

You should just leave the stock circuit in place on the 2.2 board, and build the 3 wire idle control board, and hook the stock fidle pin to that board.

I'll try to find a schematic if I get a chance.
