You have to know what features you want to use with your engine. IAC control, 12x12 tables, etc. Have you read any of the descriptions for the different codes? There is so much reading to do on this website before you can make a decision. The payoff is being well informed about what you have and how ...

Water as byproduct of combustion question

MS-II, v3.0

This is a general question about something I noticed (or actually didn't notice) when looking at my exhaust while my engine was running. Before my MS-II install (MS-I), at idle water would drip out of the exhaust withing minutes of having the engine running. This is normal since water ...

Megatune runs "slow" when not connected

Megatune seems to run sluggish when not connected to my MS unit. I can't move through the windows or open tabs as quickly as I do when connected to MS (and when it's powered). Is this normal? Thanks.

tach signal problem

I had a similar problem where I had my car running and after I shut it off and tried to start it again, there was no tach signal. I ended up just reloading the code into the processor and it started up again. I haven't had a problem with it since so I'll keep my fingers crossed ...

I don't know the values off hand, but some systems (depending on equipment used) can reach very high pressures. I would feel alot safer using something like a flare fitted system. Are the barbs removable on your setup? If they are you can buy an array of adapters that will go to flare. This is one ...

I would not suggest modifying your throttle body, at least not by drilling a hole in it. Is there a set screw anywhere near the throttle shaft? Have you given up on adjusting your VE? I don't think you should worry about airflow amount as you call it. You should be able to generate a VE value and ...

Thanks mops, it worked perfectly. I'm at the point where I can start applying values for my idle timing in the ignition table. So far I'm idling at 6-10 degrees btdc (as it did with the old carb and point setup). I began to use the trigger wizard and can finally understand how to come up with ...

Ignition input capture: How to know what to use?

Ms-II, V3, 2.34 code Hall sensor with pull up resistor

I'm in the middle of trying to set up my ignition and I don't know what to use as my ignition input capture. I have read the configuration article and tried running the engine both ways. Normally, a 'positive going' pulse would usually mean a ...
