No dice. It would not get ANY rpm signal with the diode and resistor setup in that thread.

Heres a bit more info. Its a 63 Ford Thunderbird using a gm tbi unit for fuel only. The ignition system is the oe distributor with a pertronix module replacing the points. The coil is stock. I had it wired ...

Random rpm dropout triggering off coil -

I am getting my rpm signal off the negative side of my ignition coil. Wired to the optoin+ to the negative side of the coil and optoin- to the 12v side of the coil. Gets a stable rpm signal but it will randomly drop out, usually at higher rpm and it also seems to do it more often wih longer run time ...

Microsquirt + GM TBI IAC

Planning out the wiring to run a GM TBI unit with Microsquirt. The TBI unit uses a 4 wire pintle iac valve and naturally the Microsquirt just features a single wire for a fast idle valve. Would it work to use the fi output to trigger a relay in which it would apply power to one iac coil to open it ...

Does it look like it will be out before the end of the year? I need to buy an ECU for a project before the end of December and this would fit the bill perfectly. I dont really want to buy another MS1 v3.0

Alpha N timing maps?

Anyone care to post their Alpha n timing map? Ive read they should look like a 'V'. Im curious to see what a real world map actually looks like. Thanks!
