Just another question, if I were to switch my injectors to high impedance ones, and then change the PWM settings according to the megatune manual, would my megasquirt with the blown flyback circuit work? ie: by changing the PWM settings to 100% does that tell the megasquirt to ignore the flyback ...

Thanks for the reply James. Yeah. they're 4.5 ohm and it is indeed a v2.2 board.

Looking at the board, it looks like the q1/tip42 transistor has fried. Now, how do I go about fixing it as I didn't build the 'squirt in the first place. Is there anyone in the UK who can supply the necessary ...

I'm running a 1.8 litre Zetec with Jenvey throttlebodies and Bosch Green 803 injectors. The car was MOTd friday, and yesterday was spent trying to get it running right, which I managed to do. This morning I went out and it was fine, but it seemed to be overfuelling/running rich.
