Yeah, it's a good technique - it worked really well when I was using Alpha-N.

I'm using it for the middle part of my table - it helps with the slow throttle increase at mid speeds - in around 1800-2500 rpm in 3rd for in town cruises, coming off of speed humps when I'm too lazy to downshift, and ...

I have, and just had another look to double check. For me, using RPM AE by following those instructions works great for higher RPMs but around idle it doesn't work at all. I need a rich setting for idle or I get big time lean pops when I hit the throttle to accelerate away. But with those settings ...

Stabbing the throttle even harder does not change the amount of MS of AE.
Which, so far, is the other thing that makes RPM AE problematic for me. At idle if I stab the throttle I need more enrichment than if I use a lighter touch.

If I had my druthers, I'd like the original AE to start ...

I promised to post back here if I got the off idle stumble sorted, and I did, so I am. This is for the 26h4, 6 or 8 versions of MS1 on a 2.2 board.

Remember, this is for a 5 port MGB 1800cc engine with a very big single throat throttle body from a bike. FWIW I've attached my msq.

I had to use MAP ...

There's a few of us playing with these siamesed port engines. Arnold, Werner http://home.comcast.net/~whaussmann/wmg ... ameset.htm
and me (link below).

I used one of the TBs from a Honda VT1000. I've still got one from a sunfire/cavalier that looks like it would work but I never used it.

I see the same problem, I think it's part of the same behaviour: http://www.msefi.com/viewtopic.php?t=16940&highlight=

I believe that slider is displaying tpsdot. I find I can get that meter to move furtherest when I let up on the throttle quickly - that can't be correct.

I've got my siamesed port conversion (1800cc B series) going over the last few weeks. I'm using SNSE w/ a Honda RC51 TB where the injectors are downstream of the throttle plates. It's running pretty well now. No power measurements yet. Anecdotally it pulls just as well as it did on dual SUs but with ...

Did some playing yesterday till my laptop battery died, it went pretty good. Installed 26h4 (it's so easy now!). Got my best tune using MAP based acceleration enrichment. I played with RPM based for quite some time and got it close too, but not quite as consistent as MAP based.

With RPM based I ...

No, I didn't know that! I've been using easytherm since I've got a non-standard coolant sensor, I never even looked the download-firmware.bat.

Thanks again Andy!

If I had a spare laptop or snse supported wireless I'd never even have to leave the office :).

Andy sent me an MSQ for msnse 26h4. Burning a new version is a little more than I have time to get to right now. But I did have a look at what Andy had done, and tried to emulate it in my 24s13 version that's currently installed.

First big change was in the accel wizard - I had my MAP values ...
