I have TPS, MAP and RPM lag at 80 now. I havent spent time fine tuning yet (I may tweek further) but I see a big improvement. Now that it's getting there sooner, I reduced the amount of accel enrichment. Before, TPS lag may have been as low as 30 and MAP and RPM were 50. I have a light aluminum ...

Thanks, it was the TPS and MAP lag factors. That explains why I could set my accel enrichment with MS 1 but couldnt get it right with MS II. No stalls yet - Better performance too. TPS signal is noisy with the lag at 100% but raising the threshold fixed that. even when the tps acel is not triggered ...

On the datalog from your Saturn, line 11243 looks like what I have with my car. Look at the pulse width on that line and the lines leading up to it. It looks like it might be getting the fuel it needs. Do you guy have high compression? (I have 10.6/1) Weak spark?

"We can't be the only 2 out there with this problem!!!!"
You are not! I have been working on this same problem for a few weeks too. Have you been datalogging? I noticed on my setup that when accel enrichment kicks in, O2 fuel correction stops. So if you are get 120% of the req fuel with the 02 ...

I was thinking I have it figured out, and maybe I do because it idles fine now. Even if I set it to "first hi second low" even if I turn up the predictor gain. There is something else strange going on now that may be related but different enough to start a different thread. The subject line is ...

To clarify: when I said "I set the warm up enrichment to 100% (no enrichment)" I mean I adjusted the 160 and 130 degree bins on the warm-up wizard to set them at 100% so that MS does not enrich the mixture when it thinks the coolant temp is 150 degrees.

Another possibility related symptom is that ...

Missing cranking triggers when warm?

I'm using a 10k ohm pot instead of coolant sensor input to MSII. That way I didn't have to add a temp sensor and I could keep my temp gauge. I use it as a manual choke. The odd thing is that even when it's warm it will only start with the "choke" on. At first I thought it needed more afterstart ...

Measuring economy

Is there a way to measure fuel consumption with MSII and Megatune 225 rather than waiting till I've run through a tank of gas and seeing how much it takes to refill it while recording the miles? It doesn't have to give me an accurate MPG estimate to show me what tweaks and driving style changes help ...

Ye said: "The rpm drops are probably from missing input signals.
Or a wrong offset."

No, if I understand correctly there are no missing input signals. Using embedded code version 2.3 and predictor algorithm "1st high rpm, 2nd low" caused some of the output pulses to be dropped or moved far enough ...

I have code version 2.3 so I'm gonna put in 2.35

About the predictor algorythms. Whats wrong with using "last interval" ? Is there somewhere that tells me all about the different algorhthems and what the predictor gain does?
