Yes, it's correct.

The missing tooth is 5 teeth ahead of the sensor, therefore as the engine rotates, TDC occurs on the fifth (with EDIS-8 ) tooth after the missing one.

That agrees with the diagram in the MS-II Megamanual, the info on the Extra site, Eliots photo, and my engine.

Hi William,

Check out your custom.ini file to change these settings. Each VE table has it's own autotune settings. The correction for the table is set in the "corrector" variable.

I have mine set for VETable1:
corrector = egoCorrection1

and for VETable2:
corrector = egoCorrection2

I believe ...

Hi Jon,

Take a look in your megasquirt-II.ini file and fine the TPSOXLimit entry. I have mine set as follows:

TPSOXLimit = scalar, S16, 590, "%", 0.10000, 0.00000, 0.00, 105.00, 1 ; * ( 2 bytes)

That allows a range of 0-105 kPa, you can adjust as you wish.

Hope that helps. Matt.

Lance, while we're on the subject of AMC......

I have a V8 using Dual Wideband O2 with Dual table on MS-II (v3.0 pcb), and considering a code upgrade to firmware 2.6xx

I currently have ego1 in the left manifold, and inj_1 output controlling the left injectors, and vice versa.

Could you confirm ...

Hi William,

I do use the standard IAC stepper for idle control.

I use a start value of 170 steps, I will send you a PM with the rest of my settings. I strongly advise you to go the setup process in the suggested in the Megamanual as your setup may be slightly different. There may be manufacturing ...

Hi William,

You're spot on for connecting a second LC-1. I have a two LC-1s on a Rover V8, and it works very well.

Good luck with your install.

Matt.

Hi Guys,

I have done some tests on this.

They were conducted using MS-II (with resistors jumpered) on a V3.0 board using a GM 4-wire (square plug) IAC. All the testing was done using the on the bench using a stim and freshly charged 12V battery. The pintle on the two motors tested could not be ...

I've also been having issues with unpredictable IAC responses.

I bench tested two GM square plug IAC steppers yesterday using the stim and a freshly charged 12V battery. I have the resistors jumpered on the MS-II board and v2.35 of the code.

I measured the total length from the back of the plug to ...

I ended up duplicating the circuit already on the v3.0 pcb. That seems to work just fine.
