Your problem is that most dataloggers, including the race technology one expect a continuous datastream where as MS only outputs when requested.

It would not be hard to mod the code so that you have a logger mode, but at the moment it won't work.

IRTB setups can be a bit funny. Way way way back I helped fit the first MS install onto a bike engine. It ran great, but tip in just off idle was a major pain. That was when Alpha-n support was added to MS. Later on mapdot AE and hybrid alpha-N were introduced, all addressing the same problem, which ...

Most of the effort with the A series and B series motors is being done on MS2 at the moment, with some code that will allow staged injection to overcome the worst of the problems inherent with a siamesed port engine. For single point injection (which doesn't suffer these problems) you could use uS ...

It is open source and to be brutally honest, Bruce, Al, Lance, Eric, James, Phil and others too numerous to mention have done a heck of a lot more getting the system to where it is today than you have mapping an engine. And in most cases no money has changed hands. So really you ought to be ...

It would be pretty much impossible to implement. I can read any MS processor in under a minute with a programmer and then locate all the maps that way, so just having a password for MegaTune would be pointless.

HI,

I think you are in the wrong forum here. But MS works well with the Vauxhall turbo engine.

Last time I bought some flanges I am sure theywere about 20% less than that.

The guy I bought them from does BMW M20, VW 16v, Zetec, Pinto, Rover V8, Ford Crossflow, Volvo B21, Toyota 3S-GTE, Rover K
series, Rover T series, Honda B series, Honda D series , DCOE, DCNF
and IDF.
