I run it, the only time I don't run it is under 35 degrees, but thats only because it will stall if I do. I haven't noticed any problems, it seems fine..

Megasquirt itself isn't programmed for anything, It works on target voltage, which can be anything. It has no idea what AFR its shooting for. The cam should be a turbo cam. If you use a hot cam like used in NA cars your car will run like a pig. This is because the high duration of hot cams means that back pressure from the turbo will feed back into the cylinder, partially filling it with exhaust. or something like that!

Your point of spinning tires and getting on over estimated out put is errelivant as that case would fall under the guides of "not using the tool properly."

Most cars where the owner cares about power will spin the wheels in second when you put your foot flat to the floor, even from a rolling ...

I'm squirting a 250cc single cylinder motorbike. Thanks for that link.. I didn't think of looking at engines the orbital engine companys worked on.. I might email them or go in and see them..

PWM probably would be better but i'm not sure how i'd go about it?

Small fuel pumps

There was talk a while ago about small fuel pumps.. Did anyone find a donar for small low current fuel pumps?

Its looking like i'll use an R6 (or similar) pump, but most of those pumps are for 120+ hp.. I'm after one for about 25 hp!

Are any of the modern bike fuel pumps designed to run at under ...

How is your charcoal cannister (if you have one)? Could it have expired and released its carbon into the engine or something? The granuals look very grey, the soot that usually comes with running rich is black i thought.
