maybe Im reading it wrong, but I normally get 40-50kPa with the old manifold... different story with the 6 throttle body setup, but thats for obvious reasons.

Perhaps its the norm for your setup... just enquiring.

This may not be related, but it seems your TPS isn't configured.

And you haven't got much vacuum?

As for the surges, try flatten out the Fuel map? Its probably not that, but atleast then it'll you see what is influencing it.

That makes complete sense... but why does the MSII documentation say set dwell to 1ms....?

Wouldn't believe it... changed the dwell from 1ms to 3ms, and it fired and advanced first go....

Can't believe it was so simple

Hello,
Just spent the last god knows how long looking over everything I could think of, and now Ive come to the end of it.. thought Id post here..

Im running a MSII on a V3 board, with originally V2.5 code, but now the 2.36 code.. and MT2.25. Here goes the story
(The car is a Ford Falcon, Dizzy TFI ...

Try going to Settings>Control Algorithm and choosing Pure Alpha-N, and then go to Tables>Alpha-N MAP Table.

Is that what you're after?

if the map sensor is reading right, which is easy enough to check, it shouldn't have anything to do with it.... are you sure its not your tune?

I got another program. Its called Visual Analyser, I got it from electronics lab. Anyway, this program is pretty good.,.. I can finally capture things, and there's all sorts of features, haven't really got into it yet.
