Hello,
I am in the planning stages of a Microsquirt solution. My plan would be to use it on a 4 cylinder engine, in a wasted spark, batch fire configuration with a 36-1 trigger wheel. My question is, can I pair two LS1/2 coils together, per ignition trigger output (for a total of 4 coils) from the ...

FWIW, an MSD only provides a multiple spark discharge until about 3500 RPM or so. As RPM goes up the the time between ignition events decreases. There simply isn't enough time during the ignition event to create multiple sparks above that. With today's high output coils and precision fuel metering ...

Awesome!! Thanks for the clarification. I have the setup working perfectly on the bench with a test rig (drill to spin the distributor). I am going to put it on the car this week and test it out.

The MSD probillet distributor does indeed need to have the wiring inverted to trigger properly, i.e. purple is (+), orange is (-). VB921 is driving the MSD 6AL, no pullup resister required. I also found the most reliable spark was given with Last Interval predictor algorithm...
