Which toyota motor do you have? (I'm just curious, it doesn't make a difference as long as you're using VAST)

If you have zero (and I mean zero) electronics / soldering experience, you'll want to find someone who can help you. Soldering is easy, but it's also easy to mess up the board and it's ...

I'm doing a 1988 Toyota 4runner (22re) that uses VAST as OEM.

Some hardware changes are needed to accept square wave 12v.

Output again requires some harware changes to provide ...

dcg9381,

That's not all that unusual, my thin wall stainless headers often glow dull red at idle (under the right lighting conditions). However, you may be a bit lean at idle - did you tune it to minimize the MAP reading as suggested in the manual?

Header / Manifold glow - hot

Toyota 22R, supercharged.
I've been running MSnS-E for a while now and I'm happy with the mpg and power improvement over a draw-through carb. My setup is a GM TBI (still draw through).

Recently I've noticed that when crawling along on the beach, using my low range of gears, the truck will start to ...

Steve @ rs-autosport.com and I are working on the NGC decoder for MSnS-E. BTW, NGC = Next Generation Controler found in all 03+ chryslers including SRT-4. So far its reading RPM off the factory SRT crank trigger. Spark control ...
