which issue did you have, the comm loss or the tach signal problem? :)

so just rebooting fixed your prob mike? maybe a software/laptop issue?

my tps failed on my saturn (but the tps is from a buick riveria) and the same thing happened to me earlier this summer. I also for the life of me couldn't get it to calibrate correctly. Which sucked though cause the replacement was like 60 bucks!

no, not even that. he was having some fuel cut out problems with 2.3, so he changed to 2.36, and then forgot to save his config, so he was running off the v8 settings that were in there. called me up, put new settings in there, but the tach signal was half what it was supposed to be. update was that ...

that's weird once again sam. have you been able to datalog it? maybe there's something that is pulling the timing?

MSII to GM 2.4 twin cam DIS system interface

i know people with saturns that have converted their obd2 systems to use obd1 wiht the MS2. I would assume it could be done on the cav as well. -teb

i know people with saturns that have converted their obd2 systems to use obd1 wiht the MS2. I would assume it could be done on the cav as well. -teb

there was a piece of software called "streetdyno" i believe that did all of this already, it just needed a couple of inputs. Both myself and ian (http://www.qksltwo.com) ran this and it proved to be pretty accurate.
