Yes, I understand the timing of the injections, BUT, since it is not coincidental ...

I think you are making this more complicated than it is. Megasquirt was set up initially as a fuel only controller as you describe from the beginning.
All that is needed is a signal from the negative side of your coil. TDC is irrelevant as this is a batch/bank fire system and not timed to any ...

I have been trying to figure this out for a week!!
I'm learning computer at the same time I'm learning EFI and Ignition. It gets a little overwhelming at times.
