Re: VE Table

I will post my table, though I'm using bigger Turbo, bigger injectors and plan on making more power.

It might be real close with less power and less fuel.

I'm having problems with launching. Don't know if I should use TPS or MAP on my AE.

At 20 lbs. of boost the VE and AFR are good though.

I ...

boosted2000,

Any engine that puts out 3.8 hp/cid is not 'model-able'. The reason is that the power band is likely to be both narrow and very highly dependent on the engine's specifics, like cam timing, compresiions, intake components, etc., etc., etc.

Getting the VE table wrong with that high a ...

oops I just read you are using an MC4 for spark.

Why not go Megaquirt I and run extra code and use that for spark ?

Cheers

Bazzer

The MC4 is awsome for drag racing. It has 2 step, autoshift, timing retard under boost, launch timing retard, individual cylinder timing, etc. etc. Everything is ...

Three of us are building Busa dragbikes, all MSII and all MC4 for spark. None of us are shooting for 500, but my friend has all the good stuff in the motor and may make a run at the low 7s maybe sixes :!: I would be happy with 8.20s. We are all running Turbonetics t3/t4 turbo, 650 RC injectors, Tial ...

I already had the spreadsheet and filled it out. It sized the injectors in the 50# range. I was wondering if I could get these to idle. How do I calculate the injector opening time at idle? I know the 1.7ms time is about the minimum.

The project has passed the point of being able to go with a ...
