I think you want to start with tuning the VE table for steady state first - both high & low kpa. After then, yes, you'll probably want accelEnrichment as soon as you step on it so that the extra fuel will help to alleviate the lean spikes.

If your AFR does not return even after the kpa rose and ...

TPSacc question

John,
A couple of thoughts & comments -
a) My PW DOES change like yours in most cases.

b) I was getting lean pop when I accelerate hard on track. I did a few things & that went away: turn decel enrich off when MAP>105 (i.e. on boost) and increase my accelEnrich amount more @ high V/S case.

c) In ...

TPSacc question

Well, just came back from my maiden run (new engine with MS for the 1st time at higher RPM & boost) and finally had her mostly tuned :D but TPSacc still shows BIG positive AND negative numbers.

MSLV indicates something in the range of -2500 to 10e8 [Shocked]

My PW does seem to follow either way ...

Just a bump to get it back to the recent list... still looking for some idea.

Datalogging config question

Thanks James... I looked at every other .inc thinking that it will be one of the "common" ones as opposed to Extra specific ones :(

Found it now :)

thanks.

Datalogging config question

Hi,
I searched the forum & Megamanual but couldn't find the answer so please help...

Is there a way to configure what parm are being logged by MS (through MT logging full view)?

Also, my log for WBO2 shows up as volts. Is there a way for it to log it as AFR or lambda?

thanks.

TPSacc represents the added fuel pulse in mSec. after subtracting 100.
(if less than 100 is %decel correction)

Maybe its different for MS-I v3 board running 29q2? My TPSacc is very strange - when AE kicks in (engine code = 17), I get a negative number.

And I sometimes get AE for no reason at ...

I'm not sure there is a perfect AE log because it would depend on the config (e.g. normally aspirated vs boost). And to know its perfect, I think you'll need to be able to compare it either on a dyno (most dyno runs are for steady state hp/torque rather than accel I think) or a GPS based system that ...
