I havent used it on my car yet (gouged out cylinder wall....) but I do have one suggestion. Is there any way that you can specify how many RPM points? MS uses 12, so if there was an option to select how many that would be quite spiffy 8) And the other one I just thought of, perhaps a link to a ...

The transistors dont need heatsinking. I measured the current draw at about 500mA so not a lot at all.

Roger,

Just to clarify, the MSnEDIS forum was merged with the MSnS-E forum, and the posts were transferred there. So they should still exist for the most part, and were not lost in the hacker attack.

The MSnEDIS software used to be something separate from MSnS-E, but that was quite a while ago ...

If twinspark means twin spark plugs then yes it can be done.

How is it/will it be setup, dual dizzys or coilpacks for wasted spark?

lol, alright thanks guys, I havent purchased the MS board yet, so hopefully when I get it the code will be out of beta.

the wheel in the right is from an 87 S4, I may be able to get my hands on the S4 ring and pry the old one off, but getting the dual disk clutch off isnt fun and when I go back ...

I was about to return your PM. And no im not Rich S :p

The divider im using wont work on the 100-1 flywheel you have there. It would "work" but the missing tooth would throw it off and you wouldnt get an accurate signal to the MS.

That one on the right looks like a 944 S2 or 968 flywheel. Can it ...

I have been looking into using a EDIS-8 module on a Audi V8 engine. But from what I have been reading is the upper limit for this module some 6000rpm.

I plan to use the MS-II upgrade.
