Re: any update?

Hoping for an update on the Sequencer boards and beta testing leading to sales. Regretably missed the Megameet due to son's wedding on the same day. HowGoesIt with the Sequencer?

Re: Help with CX500 Turbo

I have an Innovate LM-1 AFR box connected to the O2 input of the Squirt
Do you have the full LM-1 or just the O2 sensor with the LC-1 wideband controller? Should be the latter.

Re: Code/ CID parameter

CID is used in REQ_FUEL calculations but that is not during engine operation.

Re: VAG COP style coils

There is a recall on that coil for VW and Audi -- if one goes bad, they will replace it. It appears to be more for the earlier versions (your E version is an "early" one) and that the later ones ("L" version) may not be involved. But I am not sure about the L version. Info can be had on the Net ...

Re: More Data

What I don't know about this will fill the MegaManual and then some, but given this statement:

Cam_sync may arrive earlier than shown, but the transition to sequential always takes place ONLY after the cyl 1 tach arrives (after missing tooth + delay teeth).

how can this sequence occur:

But ...

Re: More Data

the formula could be: [ pw_wasted = (topen / 2) + (pw_seqtl - topen) / 2 ] which would maintain a constant wasted PW as topen changes

This equation reduces to: pw_wasted = pw_seqtl / 2 which sounds right since wasted injects only half of the sequential amount, twice as often.

One day I'll be ...

Re: More Data

Given a couple of difficulties from wasted (at 2 squirts per cycle) to sequential (at 1 squirt per cycle), could you setup wasted to run on 1 squirt per cycle? Once setup, the sequencer will run in wasted only a very short period of time after starting before it gets cam synch and it switches to ...

Re: Knock control with uS and MS-Seq

I'm way over my lil' head now. Al says that AD-7 comes out on pin #5, AD-7 is what MS-II uses for knock, the Manual says to connect MAF to the MAP pin #24 or to pin #29 if MAF/MAP blend is used. I'm gonna bet on Al and conclude that pin #5 on uS and Sequencer can be used for knock.

And I'm gonna ...

Re: Knock control with uS and MS-Seq

Mitsuhiko,

In finding an answer to your post, I also found an answer to mine. From the Manual under Microsquirt MAF and MAF/MAP Blend:

When the MAF option is selected, the sensor would normally be wired to the MAP pin. If, however, the combined MAF/ MAP option is selected, then MAF MUST be ...

Re: Knock control with uS and MS-Seq

Thanks, Al. So using knock sensing in uS and Sequencer is accomplished by connecting the output from whatever knock control circuitry you are using to pin #5, and setting variables in Megatune? I'm a little surprised that this is not mentioned in the Manual (at least _I_ did not find it) and that ...
