set the ms2 to an edis setup today. pulled r43&q16, and did the jumper between js10 & ign(per the assembly manual)

just need find an edis setup for my car

Substock- Any progress?

unfortunatly no. i've decided to go edis since this distributor is bad, and its easy to get the edis stuff here in the states rather then the distrib. from australia.

now all i need to do is figure out what i need to desolder and resolder on the ms board.

processor pin question, plus converting to edis

i pulled my board out tonight and was inspecting it. i found that pin 8 on the 40 pin processor wasn't soldered in(and i take full credit for this mistake, will be fixing tomorrow). i'm just curious as to know what this pin controls? and if it coul dbe part of my problems stated here:

i think i found the problem, when i plugged the stim in, it didn't give power. but after pulling the cover off i found out that the jumper for the boot was put on, i9 must have done that by mistake the last time i took the cover off.

I reckon you are missing a ground in your new wiring harness - use an ohmmeter and check every ground wire for continuity. Good luck - it will happen and it is well worth the effort!
