The wizard bar is flakey. It seems to lag or miss the event and I have even seen it track my TPS position, not rate as it should! The time it was tracking position and not rate I closed the wizard and reopened it and it behaved properly(?) trying to track rate...though poorly. I suspect megatune's ...

Thanks for the interest. I really need a long highway drive for which I may up the accel enrichment threshold to eliminate this as a cause. With the exhaust gas analyzer hooked up as I drove, I could see how long the mixture stayed rich after a throttle change/accel enrichment event and it was ...

Does a sooty tailpipe imply poor tuning ?

I have my 258 jeep running good with MS1 V3 board with MSnS code and basically a 1989 GM 4.3 TBI approach. I tuned it while driving with a portable Hirobo exhaust gas analyzer (aiming for 14-15:1 range in cruise). For high load tuning I replaced the rear axle with a water brake. The engine runs much ...

GM 4.3L TBI... do injectors smaller than 45lb/hr exist ?

I am using a MS V3 with MSnS on a 258 jeep engine with a TBI etc. off a 4.3L 1990ish Jimmy. Though it runs much better than the carb, my pulse widths are too short to do a proper job of tuning. Pulse widths are typical 1.1 to 1.2 at idle with an opening time of 1 ms...doesn't leave much room for ...
