I'm very close to starting up my 335 series engine myself and I faced the same hurdles you have. I chose the Performer 400 for my application(78 Bronco) for the better bottom end while off-roading. I realize I'm coming into this discussion a bit late, but I'm wondering why the recommendation to not use NPT fittings in the fuel rail? I just did a test drill of a couple fittings in my piece of scrap fuel rail material from RMR and the NPT fittings worked out as well as the O-ring fittings. The ...
