why doesent some one just add a accelerometer chip to the megasquirt .they sell the chips here ,

i wish i knew how to write code for the megasquirtII.

is it possible to write code to add fake pulses to the firing order so the megasquirtII will add puses and make even spaced pulses like this

*_*_F_F_*_*_F_F_*_*_F_F

* is a true pulse
F is a fake or echo of the * pulses

kinda like a echo of ...

i may have figured it out my rpm problem, my engine is an odd firing engine. and i have read the code for the odd firing ignition setups are not complete yet. it would be cool if there was some way to sync the megasquirtII to my tach with slider bar or something.

Ok here is an update to my delema, whin it is running rpm is at 1000 "car's tach" megatune is at 2000. whin cranking the RPM is correct.

Hello i finily got around to hooking up my tach and it reads about 1000 lower than megatune says my idol says 1000 and msII says 1700. how do i fix this.

hello , well im still having the starting problems some times after about 25 cranks it fires up and seems ok ,but then takes another 25 to get it going again, it seems like it wants to start but just wont catch and go , i feel i have tried every thing and read everything but i know i must be missing ...

Thanks for the reply, at this time the motor only has 40k miles on it and i just want to ware it out before i do any motor swaps, im not too concerned that this car has no power or little of it i just want to have fun and cruze it. your idea is a good one and maby some day i might go that route but ...

i was wondering if i can run my tack in parallel with the MegaSquirt or does it have to be completey seperate form the tack signal from the distribtor.
