MSII engine check light?

Using the configureable output options, you could make many different circumstances fire an LED. http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/spare.htm It would really depend what sort of conditions you want to light the LED.

Thanks Al, much clearer now. So I should be using portStatus in my if/then statement rather than port0, port 1, etc., since this shows the status of all the ports combined?

The numbers I'm using are purely for example and bench testing. You would be correct with below 50 and 75, just easier to bench test when it's close to baro pressure :lol: I may end up using TPS rather than MAP....real world testing in the car will be the determining factor. Bringing this topic back alive with more questions

After RTFM, I see it's now possible to do what I want with the spare outputs via chaining the conditions. I think I've got it to work on the stim correctly per my values, but the binary part of the equation is a bit unclear. Also, it always shows ...

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to utilize what was existing to allow for a hopefully never needed swap back to the stock computer. Looks like the MPX4250 is the way to go, since it is proven to work.

Real time baro correction using the stock Ford BP sensor

Anyone done this yet? Or a better question, is is even possible?

I was going to try and re-use the existing BP sensor already installed.

Found this regarding the output of the sensor:

Apparently it outputs a Hz frequency signal as opposed to voltage ...
