There are features that will be available on the GPIO and the router board that will need to be worked out before they can be implemented into the UMS, along with a lot of other developments in both hardware and software.

From what I understand they UMS will not be under heavy development until ...

It looks like they're just letting you backorder the gear for when it comes out, you may not see your purchase from them for many months.

If you mean, "what's the simple answer?", that is the simple answer! It may be oversimplifying it if we get any deeper.

Assuming the fuse box is wired correctly for Microsquirt there should be no reason you can't use your oem fuse box.

The SMT components have less mass and thus less weight to vibrate and damage over time, plus, there are almost no components with "through the hole" mounting and with this there are a lot less component legs, normally the easiest part of the component to fail. The whole package is more "solid ...

same here, seems happy.
I like vista in general, seems nice and has interesting features, but I really don't like how it's just so resource hungry. Really; 512 mb ram minimum, 1gb minimum suggested, 2 gb for medium to heavy use? that's a little out of the park for most daily systems over a year old ...

can i share vr sensor with stock ecu and megasquirt ?

A lot of toyota sensors can share signals and never have a problem, almost any resistive sensor will be fine from my hands on experience. I have heared of some users not having a good experience with shared sensors but that may be on a case by case scenario. I would say try it out and if it does not ...

Another autotune question

You're in man! welcome to the club :)
Minimum requirements are pentium class, windows 95 and higher. I think the slowest I've heared of with autotune is 266MHz 32MB ram running win95, worked fine. lowest powered lappy running Megatune I've hered of is 66MHz, 16MB ram.
