I'll say what others will probably say here anyway....post your build.

But....if you haven't done it already, check your plug gap, and make sure its at most .030"....usually it takes more boost than that to blow out the spark, but it can be an issue...

there is a lot of complexity to optimum ignition timing....let alone cam timing. The simple way to approach this is ignore the preconceived common belief that "more is better". Try different ranges, some engine configurations don't like a lot of timing.

294 is an awful lot of duration for a turbo ...

or, to keep it discrete looking, put a couple of the 160's near the throttle body.

Don't have to have 2 injectors per cylinder. The secondaries aren't as crucial in their placement, as long as they have equal feed to all the cylinders.

I know its *possible*....some of the guys on the turbo ...

don't forget that due to the RPM issues, they have to oversize the injectors on a bike.

But I don't know how big the injectors are either. Run it and see what happens.

some stock computers calculate timing by the percieved load the engine is under. The less load, the more timing. Depending on how things are working, its very possible that the computer is sensing a low load situation at that particular point and jacking the timing way way too high.

This is a very ...

can't say I have any personal experience with this type of conversion, but I honestly don't see how it could possible be cheaper. You can find ITB sets on ebay all day long for $100. You can't even get a set of used injectors for that....not through normal channels anyway. And that gets you the TPS ...

well, depending on my cams and cam timing, my ITB's idle somewhere around 60 KPA (8-12 in/hg)

I'm sure its different for different motors, configs, etc. But you will see much higher numbers with ITB's.

just to point it out, timing makes a HUGE difference on idle, both AFR and smoothness. I agree, that is way too much timing.

silicone hose is good to 350*, if you melt it, you have major problems :P

pretty much all suzuki's made are 77-93-77

your bike, like most kawsasaki's, are 77-85-77

well, here's the poor man way of doing it:

this is a gen1 bandit 1200, the throttle bodies are off an R1. Imagine a short section of silicone hose at the joining of the two.
