Could the ms II drive the ford twin coil from the edis config himself
whitout the edis module and using a VR sensor of the engine?

Well, yes and no. The MSII has a spark output for a high-current ignition driver (VB921) and the Ford coil pack is really no different from any other coil so with the right wiring, MSII could fire off a Ford coil pack.

The EDIS config, however, is expecting a signal from the EDIS unit itself, and in turn passes information back to the EDIS unit; the EDIS unit does the sparking, not MSII.

What MSII could do is accept 1 trigger per cylinder and spark an EDIS coil pack. I don't know what value this might have; unless you have a method for distributing spark. (You've got my wheels spinning... I'm thinking dual-dizzy setup on a Jag here using 1 coil...)

Anyway, if you want spark with MSII you MUST have a method for distributing it. (EDIS, TFI, DIS or a distributor)

I am thinking that it would be good to analize the inside of the edis module
and somhow integrate it in the megesquirt unit.
This would make it a complete system where one pragrams which sensors
he is using and get to drive a cloil pack.
I understand that it works fine now but still you have to install the VR- sensor and trigger wheel on the engine when there is already one
in some of them.
I am planning to instal on the toyota 4A-GE engine and there are two sensors in the distributor.
I can see two different trigger wheels in it, one with 4 teeth and one with
24 teeth.
I asume one for position and one for rpm ?
So you see it would be great use these for the MS

The MS-II router board add-on board will handle this type of thing (called wheel decoding) in the future.

Right now, the MegaSquirt (with the original HC908 processor) can have the -Extra software loaded, which has some wheel decoding (and multiple spark outputs) right now.

In fact, the Extra code will probably decode your 24-tooth wheel if you're willing to grind one of those teeth off. There are several 4A installs around... take a look at the Toyota success stories.

So whith removing one teeth from the 24 it works the same as the edis
setup. Wil it be possible to program any kinde and the amount of teeth ? Now there is in my case the second wheel with 4 teeth that could do the work for position of the engine.
That would require more programming and not every body has two wheels in there distributor.
Most of them would have some VR sensor in there engines so this is a verry good evolution for the MS

When is this new hardware availeble you thingk ?
