No Noise But Little Resolution--TPS Signal

Post by 69 1/2 Six Pack Bee »

I was getting ready to play with the Accel Wizard and I have literally no noise from the TPS signal as indicated by the "Tell Tale" slider bar. The TPS has been calibrated and I get an ADC count of 52 closed and 940 WOT. Yet, when I look at the slider bar in the Accel Wizard and I stab the throttle very rapidly I get very little resolution as indicated by the red bar. It goes to about 15.

Is this normal? If it needs less resolution time do I just jack the TPS Averaging Lag Factor number up higher?
It is at the default of 50 right now.
Thanx,
Bud

I see the same problem, I think it's part of the same behaviour: http://www.msefi.com/viewtopic.php?t=16940&highlight=

I believe that slider is displaying tpsdot. I find I can get that meter to move furtherest when I let up on the throttle quickly - that can't be correct.
