choosing turbo system....
here are my present solutions.
rx-7 stuff.. good choice, hard to find in my limited wrecking yards...
v-8 throttle body... dont know how it will respond under the boost pressure... o-rings etc??? dont know if it will be tunable to idle in the 1.8L engine.
lastly, a full v-8 multiport system running all 8 injectors. easy to find, but i dont know about sticking 8 injectors in my manifold....
any suggestions?

What are you T'ing? what size engine? what engine type? SOHC/DOHC
Once you get into turbo's cheaper is definately NOT better.
I have a '90 DSM throttle body complete for sale, a DSM Fuel rail and a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator. I have had it as low as 30 base pressure and peaked the pump on the high end. I also have a walbro 255LPH pump I can get rid of.
heres how it sits right now. i drive it daily.
83 (2nd gen) civic
1.6L EL1 block with the EK1 1.8L crank (accord stuff)
fully balanced
lightened flywheel
custom turbo cam grind
some head porting
kevlar 400hp clutch
t3 turbo pressurizin weber carb
aeromotive (up to 20psi) regulator
15psi ford truck fuel pump
msd boost timing control and 6A
its pretty fun as is. but i have my megasquirt box here built, tested and ready to roll. time to pull that awefull carb out of the system.
