when trying to start it ..it acted retarded, so I mssed with tirgger offset, and finanly when i got to -37.00 the timing on MS matched my light.
Did I maybe think I inverted my dizzy signal or does the dizzy need to be turned to bring everything in. i dont like having a -37 offset.

That is how I set my pro billet setup and it's working like a champ!

I snipped off the plug on the probillet distributor and feed the purple stripe wire straight from the distributor direct to MS2 using the VR input circuit. ( Just checking we're on the same page

I was able to edit my MS-II data log and change the first two rows to match that of a data log from MSI, i opend MSTweak and it worked,ChevelleFan wrote:My table is a combination of MSTweak plus manual tuning. Autotune didn't exist yet. If you can get MSTweak to work with MS-II, I highly recommend it. My setup started with MS-I and a NBO2 and that's what I did my logging/MSTweaking with. Shortly after that, I got my MS-II and a WBO2. I imported my MS-I table and then did some manual tuning to further lean out the cruise range.!
you just hvae to do a VE export from MS-II, then go to MSTweak and open the datalog that is modified, go to modify ve table in MSTweak, open LD map, then do the filter and caculate, export to vex file, go back to megatune and import ve table...worked like a charm.
good luck

finally got ignition figured out
these are my settings:
Ignition Captre: Rising Edge
Cranking Trigger: Trigger Rise
Coil Charge: standard
Spark Output: Normal (going low)
Trigger Offset: 0.00
I reversed my wires , I know have Purple Striped wire on distribtor going to MS-II ground. Orange striped wire goes in on VR IN.
I aligned the dizzy rotor bug with tower #1, ballancer at 0 degrees, set timing in table to 15 all over, started right up, timing rock solid at 15 degrees.
Before it was jumping around alot.
now this goes opposit what was found on the 400 Pontiac.
The Distributor does not turn different direction does it? could this be why we had different problems? My Pro Billet is also 5 year old. Maybe somthing change, who knows, all I know is I'm up and running , timing working great.

What predictor algorithm are you running? I have noticed my timing jumped around a bit on 1st High 2nd Low, so I changed it to last interval and it seemed to be pretty solid now.

I've been using 1st high 2nd low, I am getting ready to go outside and try last interval.krisr wrote:Ahh yes. They do spin in a different direction. I thought when you said you have the same setup, you had a Pontiac engine too.. Didn't read the TPI bit..![]()

after fixing the first bit timing was a lot more solid, but still maybe jumping around 2 or 3 degrees...i figured it was slop in the timing chain slop or somthing... i'll let you know.
