GSXR 600 Injector impedence
Newbie with probably a daft question thats been asked before!!
I'm fitting GSXR TBs to a zetec and running a megasquirt, hopefully to be up and running next week.
What I need to know is the impedence of the 600 injectors. Bit new to this but the guys whose helping with the ms was asking.
Cheers

GSXR 600 Injector impedence
Â
Measure the DC resistance of the injectors (with an ohmmeter across the two terminals for the connector). This will give you a rough idea of their impedance. If the DC resistance is greater than 10 Ohms, you have high impedance injectors. If the DC resistance is less than 4 Ohms, you have low impedance injectors.
Â
In virtually all cases, this is all you need to know to wire MegaSquirt.
Â
If you want to know the actual impedance, you'll need an LC (or LRC) meter.
