Ms sharing signals with stock ecu

Post by masterx81 »

Hi to al...
I'm installing ms to my car, but before do let the ms to control the whole engine, i prefer to only log and watch the same signals of the stock ecu.
I've done power connections and CLT,TPS and IAT.
With tps no problem (the +5 volt to the sensor is provided only by the stock ecu), but with CLT and IAT i've a problem: Connecting them in the same wires as the original ecu (parallel connection), both the ecu's read wrong values. Disconnecting the ms connector the stock ecu return to work properly.
How i can share this signals on both ecu's?

Really thanks to all!!!

masterx81,

Sharing sensors with the OEM ECU requires some detective work and some modifications. See:

http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/sharesen.htm

BTW, this was listed under "Sharing Sensors with the OEM ECU" in the MegaManual index here: http://www.megamanual.com/mtabcon.htm

masterx81,

No problem, and certainly no need to apologize. I just point it out so people know where to look.
