If you have a wide-band sensor and have selected the appropriate controller when setting up in the configurator, then you should already see an AFR gauge (at least you should in most code INI files). If you don't, go into the configurator and set the 'Settings.ini/Settings/LAMBDA_SENSOR'.
If you have a narrow band sensor, then no, you cannot legitimately display the AFR, since the sensor output only corresponds to a particular AFR at one voltage (stoichiometric at the switch point voltage). That doesn't mean you can't make an AFR gauge, but it does mean it will be wrong, and by quite a bit, more often than it is right.

What processor and code?
What version of MegaTune? If you aren't using the latest version of MegaTune, you should upgrade: http://not2fast.wryday.com/megasquirt/mt/2.25/
