The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview. While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. What has changed is that the method of MegaSquirt support today has rapidly moved to Facebook, this is where the vast majority of interaction is happening now. For those not on Facebook the msextra forums is another place for product support. Finally, for product selection assistance, all of the MegaSquirt vendors are there to help you select a system, along with all of the required pieces to make it complete.

i have a dodge neon with a 2.4L Stratus motor running on a 2.0L ECU. the 2.4 firing order is one off from the 2.0 ...u have to switch the injector plugs on the harness so that cyl1 is actually 2 and 2 is 3, 3 is 4 , 4 is 1.this way the motor fires on the 2.0 ecu and timing...the question is do i wire the MS into the harness as would the 2.0 firing order like 1 off or do i just hook 1 up to 1 and 2 up to 2...there is no spark control on its just for injector timing...so i would think that u would wire it in the 2.0 firing order cause of the stock ecu sparking...i'm just haveing a big proplem getting my car to start and i'm trying to figure it out..
MegaSquirt does not time the injectors, so it doesn't matter in what order you hook them up (especially on an in-line engine, where there is no possibility of reducing the fuel drop in each rail by having half the injectors from each bank on separate rails).
