Ok - VE Tuning - Please Help

Post by psinnis »

I've got my MSII installed and working. Car runs better than ever! I tweaked individual cells in the VE table to get the best idle (highest vacuum). I tweaked the base VE table up/down with scale table, at .1 increments, to find a good spot. O2 sensor, (narrow, factory) still reads way rich when applying any throttle. Is this normal? Tried leaning table back to lower 02, but causes car to stumble.
Thanks, Paul

that is correct. when you apply throttle you want to be running rich, in fact at WOT ideally 12:5 AFR. Perheps at gentle acceleration stoich is good, but definitely whn you stab the throttle you want rich... but not as rich that black smoke is comming out the exhaust...
